The Magic Mushroom Cup

A Historic Event for Oklahoma

For the first time in state history, Oklahoma is hosting a revolutionary event to celebrate and analyze the compounds found in magic mushrooms: The Magic Mushroom Cup. Taking place during the Oklahoma Psychedelic Conference on April 12th, 2025, this groundbreaking competition offers participants the opportunity to test their mushrooms professionally, compete for prestigious prizes, and contribute to the growing body of knowledge about psychedelics in the community.

What is The Magic Mushroom Cup?

The Magic Mushroom Cup is Oklahoma's first-ever magic mushroom testing competition, designed to highlight the expertise of cultivators and enthusiasts while providing valuable scientific insights. Participants will submit mushroom samples to compete in one of three categories:

  • Psilocybe genus (e.g., Cubensis, Tampanensis, Natalensis, etc)

  • Panaeolus genus (e.g., Cyanescens, Cinctulus, Tropicalis)

  • Psilocybin Extracts (Liquid or Powder)

Each submission will undergo professional analysis by a trusted, out-of-state psychedelic testing laboratory, with participants receiving a detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA) to better understand the compounds present in their mushrooms.

Why Participate?

The Magic Mushroom Cup isn’t just a competition—it’s an opportunity to:

  • Compete for top prizes: Winners in each category will receive:

    • 1st place medals
